Choose Shared source, select a browser tab and enable Share tab audio when offered. Source sharing and audio availability depend on your browser and device; an authorized file upload is an alternative.
See elapsed time and buffered size. Stop and keep loads the clip into the player; Discard removes unfinished data. Cancelling a pending request ignores and releases late permission grants.
Review playback and use Download original recording to save the browser's recorded file without an AI action. This preserves the recorded compressed format; it is not lossless restoration or a WAV conversion.
Recording remains in tab memory and is excluded from workspace backups. Analyze or Ask Audio explicitly starts the existing private processing flow. Keep a copy before replacing the source or leaving.
Choose 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes before recording; the default is 5 minutes. A remaining-time display and progress bar show the active limit. At auto-stop, review and download the clip from this tab. A 100 MB size limit still applies, and browser suspension can delay timers.
Open the audio workspace, choose Capture and select a 1, 5, 10 or 30-minute auto-stop.
Choose Microphone or Shared source and grant the requested browser permission. Obtain any required speaker and rights-holder consent first.
Choose Stop and keep recording or wait for auto-stop, then play the clip to check the source and level.
Download the original if you need a durable copy. Choose Analyze only when ready to upload audio for AI listening.
Use capture only when authorized. Check the audible result, save an original, and request private AI processing when it helps your next decision.
